VIBRANT ENERGY CONNECTS A FURTHER 34.6 MWP OF SOLAR FARMS

Vibrant Energy Holdings Pte Limited (“Vibrant” or the “Company”) is delighted to announce that it has connected a further 34.6 MWp of solar farms at four sites across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The Company expects to expand these plants by a further 23.6 MWp in Q2 of 2017, enabling the projects to export 45 MW at peak periods. All of the plants were built by KEC International Private Limited, and use GCL solar panels.

The Company is now managing 56.7 MW for itself and third parties.

Ram Nandakumar, the Chief Executive Officer of Vibrant, said “Today represents another very significant milestone for Vibrant: the simultaneous connection of multiple sites across two states and distances of hundreds of kilometres. This is a real achievement for the Company, which we could not have delivered a year ago. Like any infrastructure project, each of the projects has had complexities which required significant management time to resolve. A year ago, we did not have the in-house expertise that would have enabled us to manage multiple sites simultaneously, but the team has matured rapidly and I am delighted as to what has been achieved over the last three months. We are now ready to move forward on multiple fronts as we continue to grow. India remains, we believe, the best market in which to develop large scale solar projects, and Vibrant Energy is now well placed to take advantage of this exciting opportunity.”
